Team Paul
Story
Hi there,
Thankyou for clicking on this page. I know that people are always begging for donations to one kind of charity or another and often it seems like the money disappears into the ether, with no discernible benefit. Well, this is different.
Did you know that each year over 1,500 Australians will die from melanoma and that it is the most common cancer in Australians aged 15-39 years? It is also one of the most aggressive and deadly forms of cancer.
Treatment for melanoma has come a long way in recent years which is great news for me as my gorgeous husband, Paul, was diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma in September 2014. He has responded well to his treatment so far, but to ensure that the positive news continues more and better treatments are needed.
Melanoma has become known as Australia’s National Cancer, and statistics have to change.
Paul and I and our three little kids will be joining in the Melanoma March on 22 February 2015 and it would be fantastic if you could sponsor "Team Paul" to raise money for melanoma research.
I have created my very own fundraising page.Through this webpage you can easily support our efforts by making a secure donation. I would also really appreciate it if you could share my page above or comment below so more people know about it.
Click 'Donate Now' to make a secure online donation. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a DGR receipt via email as soon as you make a donation.
Thank you so much for your support!
Georgie
